There seems to be a huge profusion of bird related portals all of a sudden. Would have been nice if they had been tagged with WP:BIRD so we could review and comment, but here we are. This family of birds (kinglets) has exactly seven species. There is absolutely no need for a portal for 8 articles (there's no need for a portal for birds other than the neglected Portal:Birds anyway, but that's another argument). Everything you could possibly want to know about the subject is on the family page or on one of the seen species page (many of which are featured). Sabine's Sunbird talk 23:46, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
- Delete - Concur with nominator. It seems clear that TTH was just creating as many portals as they could because creating portals is fun (although it is hard work for 3 minutes). Robert McClenon (talk) 00:02, 10 March 2019 (UTC)

- Delete: far too niche to be a useful portal topic. — Bilorv (he/him) (talk) 01:12, 14 March 2019 (UTC)
- Delete. Yet another pointless, uncurated microportal. The community should not have to be wasting time cleaning up this portalspam; if there was any good faith in its creator @The Transhumanist, TTH would have acknowledged the error and deleted it by themself. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs)
