I do not see the purpose of this news page. It was based off of an old version of Template:In the news, but now, it looks like that this subpage is actually redundant, and should be deleted. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 21:58, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. The correct current events subpage for this date is at Portal:Current events/2012 June 10. That is the page that is transcluded into the month page at Portal:Current events/June 2012, linked from the June 10 article, etc. This page seems to have been created in error by an editor who has no other portal-space edits, and is not used anywhere. --RL0919 (talk) 22:29, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per RL0919. “I don’t see the purpose ...” is a terrible opening to a deletion rationale. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 01:13, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- Weak Delete as a misnamed page. Robert McClenon (talk) 03:20, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- Weak delete per Robert McClenon, but I concur with SmokeyJoe that the nom's deletion rationale is terrible. Note my deletion is subject to the two pages being substantially the same, and to this one being created after. --Doug Mehus T·C 03:29, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- Delete erroneously created page with no significant history. Could also just redirect to the proper title next time you find something like this. Nemo 08:02, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
