The result of the discussion was: redirect to Portal:Caribbean. In case there is mergeable material; consensus is clear though that a separate portal is probably unwarranted Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 08:53, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Portal:Caribbean Community[edit]

Portal:Caribbean Community (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Delete Similar to Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Portal:SAARC (2nd nomination), this is an abandoned mini-portal (5 articles, 5 pictures, 5 bios) that doesn't know what it is: the ostensible subject is the 15-nation inter-governmental organization founded in 1973, but the selected articles are drawn from the entire history of the region (Battle of Nassau, fought in 1776, is the selected article as I write this), and therefore this is redundant to Portal:Caribbean, which recently survived MfD. • Delete or possibly merge some elements to Portal:Caribbean. As a portal about the member states of the Caribbean Community the portal is largely redundant to the Caribbean portal, and I don't think there's enough content about the Caribbean Community itself to sustain one. • Selective Merge to Portal:Caribbean. North America1000 03:27, 11 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Another underviewed and unmaintained portal. Portal has 7 average daily pageviews, as opposed to 718 daily pageviews for article. Robert McClenon (talk) 20:31, 11 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
