Draft:Untitled Game of Thrones prequel (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Cancelled series that is no longer going ahead (source), all the given information is already available at Game of Thrones#Successor series. -- /Alex/21 03:21, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@SmokeyJoe: WP:G13 is for a "Page in draft namespace or userspace AfC submission, stale by over 6 months". That is not the case. Did you mistype? -- /Alex/21 03:31, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
User:Alex 21 - I don't think User:SmokeyJoe mistyped. He meant that at the end of April 2020, the draft will be abandoned and will die of old age. Robert McClenon (talk) 04:09, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That's right. Add the "Prequel Dead" source to the draft, not to a Wikipedia MfD discussion. "Prequel cancelled" decision can very easily be altered and the story can continue. Maybe the prequel will happen without Naomi Watts. Any number of things may happen. A valid purpose of DraftSpace is the hosting of these WP:TOOSOON drafts, it is far better to have a TOOSOON (inc. POSSIBLYNEVER) draft in the common draftspace than in a multitude of userspace subpages or off-line notes. 6 months was the agreed suitable duration before the old sources should be wholesale WP:TNT-ed for a fresh restart with fresh sources. Standard AfC processes suffice, there is no role for MfD here. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 04:34, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
