This guy has been pushing his autobio for almost a year now. [1] He removes the AfC declines and sends it through again. All of his 60 edits have been to the draft or pushing this draft at our help desks. This is a big time sink. Check the history link to see the previous declines and other maintenance other users have done on the cureent version of the Draft. See User talk:Robert Beckham Mugimba for the warnings and speedy tag on an earlier version of this draft. Legacypac (talk) 03:27, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- Delete because of his persistent recent inquiries at the Teahouse and the AFC Help Desk. However, what is really needed is a Block as not here to contribute to the encyclopedia. Robert McClenon (talk) 03:47, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- I requested a username block to start noting he is only here to promote himself. Legacypac (talk) 03:49, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- Comment: The persistent inquiries at the Teahouse or the AfC Help desk, while annoying, are not really a good reason for deleting a draft, at least in my opinion. Repeatedly submitting the same declined version of a draft over and over again can be a reason per WP:DMFD, but this draft has only been submitted
threefour times since creation and has not been submitted sinceearly JuneDecember 2018; so, that doesn't seem like much disruption. On the other hand, if the consensus is that there's really no chance of this ever being accepted as an article per WP:BIO, etc. and any further attempts at improving are just going to lead to a waste of the community's time and energy, then deletion might be OK per WP:TNT.A blocking of the account, however, is probably something which shouldn't be proppsed here, but rather at WP:ANI. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:36, 6 March 2019 (UTC); [Note: Posted edited by Marchjuly to correct error related to number of times draft was submitted and date of last submission. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:32, 6 March 2019 (UTC)]- Rejected in December 2018 and he continues to push. - I missed that last submission, and have corrected my original post accordingly. Still not sure, if there's a bright-line so to speak for how many times a draft can be submitted. After a closer look though, it does appear that the editor submits the draft, takes a fairly long break from editing, and then comes back to query about the draft or resubmit. That's not really productive for sure. but if you Google the name it's clear that he exists, he is a diplomat and that there are some articles out there about him (some of which seems to be about possible misdeeds). So, maybe an argument could be made for his notability, but at the same time he might not actually understand WP:PROUD or WP:LUC. Maybe deletion would actually be doing him a favor. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:32, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- Rejected in December 2018 and he continues to push. Legacypac (talk) 05:29, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- Generally over 3 submissions is good to get an MfD discussion, especially combined with other annoying behavior or any kind of promotion. We have some guidence at WP:DIPLOMAT and WP:NMFD that applies. Legacypac (talk) 06:45, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- Delete as the subject of the article does not appear to be notable (not to mention the WP:AUTOBIO and WP:PROMO issues). However, if the article is kept, then it will have to be written more neutrally, including adding information from some of the only articles I can find, many of which are negative. --Zman9600 (talk) 06:14, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
