  • I have little or no opinion on whether it should be deleted. It's only a draft, and has no chance of ever being accepted as an article; also if it is deleted it will just be created again, under the same title or a different one, so whether it's deleted or not will make very little if any difference. I suppose Star Mississippi's point about use as a honey pot to catch sockpuppets might just sway the matter marginally towards keep, but I don't feel strongly about it. However, another issue on which I do have a strong opinion is:
  • Do not salt. There have been countless attempts to get an article on topics related to this, under numerous titles. If existing titles are salted, it just means the next time it's created, yet another title is used; it does nothing at all towards stopping creation. Since we can watch titles which have been used before, but can't possibly watch every conceivable new title someone may come up with, the only effect of salting is to make it harder for us to keep track of re-creations. (I am mentioning this so emphatically because a related title was salted, then unsalted following discussion between administrators, then unilaterally re-salted by another administrator, presumably unaware of the discussion.
