Draft:Mselect[edit]

Draft:Mselect (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

G13 postponed draft. In an attempt to save it I've searched for sources but can't find anything other than subject generated promotion (at least in English). Fails WP:CORPDEPTH Legacypac (talk) 21:16, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Mselect and Hal Miran have a passing mention in the NYTimes, with "the largest staffing company in Iraq, with headquarters in Erbil"[1] as a CSD#A7 passing assertion of importance. This is not enough for an article, and not even enough to add to Economy of Iraq, although I could be wrong. If it were in userspace, I'd advocate keeping. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:14, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I know I searched and searched because I'm on the board of a charity working in the area. I could not find anything. Maybe in Arabic? Legacypac (talk) 07:58, 14 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Stale draft that did not meet notability standards. The material in the draft article quotes the passing mention which seems to be the only independent source anyone has been able to find, plus quotes non-independent primary sources for the rest. In the event notability is ever demonstrated and sources found (in any language...) the degree of overlap of a well sourced, independent article on this subject with the current one will be minimal, so no harm done in deleting.
