Draft:Kaynemaile Architectural Mesh (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Submitted three times in quick succession by by apparent coi editor DGG ( talk ) 18:02, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep – the editor isn't resubmitting tendentiously, but has instead made good-faith changes in an attempt to make the draft less promotional. The draft hasn't even been rejected, which is generally a prerequisite for MfDs based on inappropriate resubmission. And if there are any COI (or perhaps WP:PAID) issues, those can be resolved through the ordinary processes. While the draft is hardly perfect, imperfection (even when accompanied by insanity) doesn't constitute a valid reason to delete a new editor's good-faith draft-space attempts to meet our standards. • Weak Delete - Maybe I have a different concept of who are entitled to being treated as new editors than Extraordinary Writ does, or of how much a submission is corrupted by conflict of interest. Repeated resubmissions by a commercial editor, even if in what passes for good faith, waste the time of the community. Robert McClenon (talk) 13:52, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. This is the yet again recurring outcome of the stupid design of AfC coding that doesn’t use talk namespaces for communication. The author thinks standard method is to communication by pressing the big blue submit button and then reading the response, repeat. This was not tendentious resubmission, but bad communication by AfC with a newcomer. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 08:20, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Just look at Draft talk:Kaynemaile Architectural Mesh. It has banners of announcement, but no talk. Look at Draft:Kaynemaile Architectural Mesh, it has talk-ish stuff in the header, but it is wrapped in template code to prevent a newcomer from responding. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 08:24, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
