Draft:Jake Fersko (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Poorly referenced draft about a person whose notability claim (hosting a web series) completely fails to verify at all. On a Google search, I can find verification that "Jake Fersko" (or at least locked/private social networking profiles under that name) exists, but I can find no reliable sources that link him to either the RuPaul's Drag Race franchise or the Brit Awards in any way whatsoever. I can't even find any genuine verification that a web series called "RuPaul's Drag Race UK Werk Room" even exists, in fact -- a Google search for it only turns up the aforementioned social networking profiles and user-generated sources (like other wikis and IMDb) where a self-promoting faker could easily have added himself, with no media coverage and no actual episodes of this purported web series locatable at all. In other words, this looks suspiciously like a self-promoting wannabe is making false claims about himself for publicity — but draftspace isn't an exemption from our verifiability rules, and even a rejected draft is still deletable if it's impossible to properly verify that the content isn't an outright hoax. • Weak Keep - The harm done by keeping a draft that may be a subtle hoax in draft space is less than the harm done by deleting a draft of a person who may be notable in the future. Draft space is where we put stuff that we aren't sure about. Robert McClenon (talk) 20:36, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What basis is there to assert that he "may be notable in the future"? Bearcat (talk) 16:35, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Nobody said anything about "offensiveness". The problem here is a total unverifiability issue, not an "offensiveness" issue. Bearcat (talk) 16:36, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe I am assuming some verification at https://jakefersko.com/. However, it doesn't work for me. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 02:29, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
