Draft:Admerasia[edit]

Draft:Admerasia (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Draft from 2012 previously somewhere in Wikipedia-space but moved here to draftspace. The content already exists in a less promotional tone at Admerasia. Ricky81682 (talk) 01:46, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Admerasia is an Orphan company article, with two versions very likely created, each by a company staff member.
The one nominated here was created first. Brucemaliksi (talk · contribs) created it in two main sessions, 2 hours on 7 March 2013 and 1 hour on 16 May 2013. He created it in a sandbox, and at the end mess up by moving it to Wikipedia (project) space instead of mainspace, a very easy mistake. He then blanked the draft on his userpage.
Later, Tancarnivore (talk · contribs) created a mainspace version directly in mainspace in 15 minutes on 20 September 2013. He did a better job than did Bruce.
Move back to User:Brucemaliksi/sandbox and redirect to Admerasia, or history merge, depending on how important you consider the page creation statistic for the second WP:SPA. Delete the Wikipedia title.
I'm curious as to what behind the deleted title at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Admerasia. Could someone temp undelete it for me please? --SmokeyJoe (talk) 02:45, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I did the tempundelete, but it is clear tht the existing mainspace article is much mroe satisfactory & nothing needs to be copied into it from the draft DGG ( talk ) 03:11, 10 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
What in the world would you want it returned to the sandbox of someone who hasn't been here since 2013? They created the content at the Wikipedia talk page, in draftspace, and again at Wikipedia:Admerasia with promotional material. Someone else created the current version and that being it from both editors, there's a little bit of suspicion about this overall. It doesn't seem like either editor is going to return here now that the page has been created. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 06:12, 17 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It should be returned to the user's sandbox because it never should have been moved out of the sandbox. Accidental content forks should be redirected, not deleted. User's edit histories should not be deleted without a better reason than that the draft looks promotional, when obviously, in hindsight, it is a notable topic. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 07:12, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
