Comment - This is an error that we occasionally see at MFD where someone clicks the Twinkle XFD button while they are on a talk page. Sometimes they are on an article talk page and trying to nominate the article for deletion. It brings them to MFD because MFD is the correct venue for a request to delete a talk page, but they aren't trying to delete a talk page. It isn't exactly that they are in the wrong forum, but that they have selected the wrong page. The error is harmless enough that it should be dealt with by explaining it to the nominator, as we are doing. Any way to try to deal with it in Twinkle would be more complicated and might have other problems also. Just an observation. Robert McClenon (talk) 18:35, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
