What's the dispute?[edit]
The dispute pertains to a Biography of a Living Person. I am an editor who has legitimate concerns about a biography of a living person, and Jimbo Wales' comments about such cases would appear to apply.
Wikipedia's policy regarding conservatively written, non-tabloid articles relating to biographies of the living is quite clear and should take precidence over any other policies.
I have removed text which is in my opinion:-
1) A defamatory and potentially liabelous comment about a living person that falls below Notability, serving no other purpose than titilation. On this basis alone it has no place in wikipedia. 2) It is also poorly sourced. The underlying publication does not cite it's source. Therefore it is hearsay.
I have tried to engaged restoring editors in discussion.
I have also raised the issues in the appropriate forum http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Syed_Ahmed.
