Comprehensive edits analysis
Jurisdrew, or the flag vandal as they call it on Meta, has been vandalising flag related pages cross wiki on numerous wikis. As of July 2021, he is globally locked. Most of the time, the main target is on Commons, but has also targeted small wikis such as Nauru or Maori Wikipedia, but sometimes targets medium sized wikis like the Korean Wikipedia, but has targeted all wikis since July 2021. While a well known vandal on most wikis, the only non-Wikipedia WMF project he targets is Commons.

Jurisdrew also targets personal sandboxes as well, if they have flags in them, but most get reverted within 24 hours.

Jurisdrew's vandalism may also be hard to find, and often very few of his edits get detected on SWViewer. However, a good way to check is looking at the recent changes on a small wiki he targets like Nauru, Fiji, Maori or Yoruba Wikipedia, where most of his edits are prevented by the abuse filter.

Any account that is suspected to be his should be requested to be locked by stewards at m:SRG.

Targeted areas, pages, themes

  • Jurisdrew mostly vandalises pages that are related to flags. He will also vandalise personal sandboxes as well (and userpages if you mess with him).
  • Most of the targeted flag pages are often fictional flags, or flags of the Middle East, Central Asia, Tibet, Eastern Europe as well as Pacific Island nations like Nauru or Fiji

Habitual behaviour

  • Username patterns often start with "Juris", but not all of his usernames start with Juris.
  • Edit summaries are "scobedos", also "scobedo race", but his patterns have changed after filters were put into place, but yet some of his edit summaries still mention "scobedos"
  • Inserts images of flags into random pages
