- Kimitoshi Yamane, anime mechanical designer; I just created this article a hour or so ago and it has been already tagged for speedy deletion. Yamane's amongst the most famous mechanical designers in Japan so I didn't figure this would happen so soon after I just translated it from the Japanese wikipedia. If anyone can help me out here, I would greatly appreciate it ^^ ···巌流? · talk to ganryuu 21:23, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, finally a neutral admin saw through this and declined the completely baseless speedy delete claim, and now it has been taken to AFD: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kimitoshi Yamane - if someone can add references, preferably from any Japanese magazine or resource like Animage or Newtype, and anything else to help this article survive, their help would be greatly appreciated. Not so long ago, adding Japan-based articles to the English Wikipedia from the Japanese Wikipedia actually used to be fun, but alas. ···巌流? · talk to ganryuu 00:06, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
