I uploaded one sample of original version and one sample of 2002 remix, both of the same chiptune instrumental "Acidjazzed Evening", for Timbaland plagiarism controversy to compare with a sample of Nelly Furtado's "Do It". I'm unsure whether either one complies with NFCC. No objections to deletion if no one else objects. --George Ho (talk) 01:22, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Canada has no FoP for 2D graphic works. Image is not used anywhere. Ixfd64 (talk) 02:53, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have doubts if this artwork is really available as Free art license / Attribution as claimed. Based on the filename the uploader may be related to the subject and likely owns the physical painting, but copyright belongs to the artist. MKFI (talk) 08:08, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Relicense to non-free 2D art and add a fair use. Use should be valid seen as there is no free image of Vakkom Moulavi. I tried searching for the artist to determine the date of the artwork but came up with nothing. Salavat (talk) 14:40, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

At this moment, there are no suitable free images of any single release of "You're So Vain". I uploaded the US side label intended to replace the Dutch single release, which was PRODded and then deleted. Just immediately, a different picture sleeve for the German release (discogs, 45cat, ebay) is uploaded. If displaying non-free portions of more than one release is at odds with WP:NFCC#3a and/or WP:NFCC#8, then IMO perhaps the German release must go. Otherwise, I can live with having two non-free images for You're So Vain. Scrapping out the US side label is not something I would accept at this time. George Ho (talk) 04:00, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Concur that having two non-free images is suitable for an article of this stature. However, in such cases I prefer that picture sleeves be placed in the lead position since they will generally elicit greater interest. - JGabbard (talk) 15:36, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.

Um... look, continuing a discussion from the other FFD discussion, if the end result of this listing on the German single release of "You're So Vain" is either "Keep" or "No consensus" (defaulting to keep, I bet), then... I'll forego trying to replace a any non-free cover art that you uploaded with a non-free label. I guess I'll add a non-free label as secondary image until I'm told to stop. All right? However, I'll still continue uploading labels that are what I consider ineligible for US copyright especially in Commons. Whether such copyright-ineligible labels will be used in every article is a case-by-case basis. George Ho (talk) 08:08, 7 February 2022 (UTC); amended, 08:24, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I just realized that I accidentally included non-free cover arts uploaded by others. Nonetheless, maybe I'll try to control my tendencies to replace non-free covers uploaded by others with a non-free label, especially since you've reverted my PRODs lately. Still, I'm proud of replacing one cover art with two labels at Baby Come Back (Player song), but I won't stop you from taking either one or both labels to FFD. George Ho (talk) 08:24, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I also realized that I accidentally included misidentified cover arts and fakes. I will still seek ones that are mistaken as portions of single releases. --George Ho (talk) 18:53, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No exception to WP:NFCC#3a. Must ditch the CD2 cover art of "Best of You" and stick with the other cover art; both similar to each other. George Ho (talk) 09:34, 26 January 2022 (UTC); expanded, 09:35, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
