Uploader claims to be the copyright holder, but this looks to be a publicity image in use by the university in various crops. See this and click on the image. Look at this video which is linked from the university site. This article has a crop of the image and credits it as "Image courtesy of CU Boulder". WP:OTRS confirmation would be needed. The cast images were previously removed last year, citing WP:NFCC#8 and replaceable by free images. However, I really thought that such removals were detrimental to know who’s who and what the cast looked like. I discussed with the person who removed the images, who used film articles as examples to claim that a non-free image of cast members is unnecessary and said that substantive commentary is needed to justify using the image. However, I told the user that per WP:NFC#CS, “contextual significance” is subjective at best, but the user seemed still unconvinced. Recently, the images are undeleted per my request. I figured that the images would be removed again without discussion, so I’m taking them here, hoping that FFD results would be more enforceable than bold removal. If only one picture should be kept, then try the pre-1992 cast photo because the series Empty Nest premiered with that particular ensemble. George Ho (talk) 01:39, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Fails WP:NFCI#4 because there is no "critical commentary", fails WP:NFCI#8 because there is no "sourced commentary". My opinion tends to be that more than one non-free image is too many, although I understand that is not how WP:NFCCP#3a actually reads; If there were not a titlecard in the infobox, I might be okay with one of these there but my understanding of MOS:TVIMAGE is a preference for the titlecard.  ★  Bigr Tex 04:31, 1 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned, no particular use. Hog Farm (talk) 17:01, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete seems not very useful. TheImaCow (talk) 18:42, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, orphaned with no obvious value. Salavat (talk) 00:01, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: useless orphaned file. JavaHurricane 08:09, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and transfer to Commons. The image is illustrative of somebody playing Beatmania IIDX. The choice of what images to use to illustrate an article is an editoprial one. That this image is not used to illustrate the article does not render is useless. The image is clear, in focus, with no licensing issues, and could be potentially used in other languages where editors may make a different choice of images in an article. c:Category:Beatmania IIDX is not exactly overrun with images. -- Whpq (talk) 12:18, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
