While the console is not yet out, the release date is within the next few months and there are bound to be press events where free images can be taken. This fails NFCC#1. Masem (t) 00:24, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree. The rule is "Non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available, or could be created, that would serve the same encyclopedic purpose." Nothing in there about "near future". Currently, there is no way to create a free equivalent, and with COVID-19, god knows when there will be. Obviously it will be possible after release, but I don't see anything here that makes me think that would disqualify us from using a non-free file until then. Besides, release may be in as much as half a year, if there are no delays. That's not "a few months" in my book. NCLI (talk) 00:30, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Fails NFCC 1. Technically a freely licensed version could be released today, it's just that Sony and everyone with access to the finished version have not chosen to do so. This is the same logic we use for disallowing non-free images of living people; we could get a free version at any time, and them choosing not to release one doesn't impact the NFCC. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 07:17, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Under that logic, surely no non-free content should ever be allowed, since the copyright holder could choose to re-license the content under a free license at any time. NCLI (talk) 14:56, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This does very little, if anything, to add educational value to the page. Fails WP:NFCC#8. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 17:20, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

orphaned image that is unlikely to have future encyclopedic use. Previous proposed deletion in May by Fastily "unused, low-res, no obvious use" which was declined by Spinningspark with edit comment: "Decline. Files once used in articles should be kept to preserve integrity of article history"  ★  Bigr Tex 23:46, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Per my decline of the prod, files once used should be retained. Alright this one was only used on a talk page, but the same thing applies. If you delete the image the conversation will make little sense to anyone reading it in the future. SpinningSpark 23:55, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per a literal reading of NOTWEBHOST: the image must be usable in the present and/or future (past does not suffice); and it must be usable in article or project space (talk does not suffice). Wikiacc () 03:22, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, orphaned with no obvious value. Salavat (talk) 07:15, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per my original prod rationale -FASTILY 07:49, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
