- File:Ameliaearhartthefinalfl.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Bzuk (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
The screenshot is used in the cast section of Amelia Earhart: The Final Flight with a caption of "Critics decried the inaccurate portrayals of historical figures such as Earhart and Putnam." There is no critical commentary of the image itself in the article, it is being used to show the actors in the film. I am not sure how a screenshot could ever show what critics thought about the film. It does nothing to increase the reader's understanding of the film and its exclusion is not detrimental to the understanding of the film, thereby failing WP:NFCC#8. Unused derivative file that is breaking the license terms of the original file by not correctly attributing in the manner required by the licensor. Green Giant (talk) 23:13, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- JFTR I assure you I had no intent of breaking any license terms, I just casually used the link function to point to the original work and its author instead of copying and pasting their info. Nobody seems to have cared for 14 years. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 23:46, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- I only looked at the file because it was tagged for Commons by a bot. However, I may be wrong about the lack of attribution if that was added after you uploaded this file. Green Giant (talk) 00:23, 20 January 2018 (UTC)
