Non-free logo which seems to fail WP:NFCC#1 because there exists File:Dare County Seal.tif which is a freely licensed version of the same seal with only some differences in coloring between the two. The Commons version was uploaded after the non-free version and it's possible it is a copyvio, but the non-free isn't needed if the Commons version is OK. -- Marchjuly (talk) 09:28, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Marchjuly: The uploader on Commons is named Darecountypr and its their only upload. They also have enwiki edits, one to our logo page and the other to the userpage of Line82, which is the uploader of our logo. I am guessing that the Commons logo was uploaded by a representative of the county. I think asking for OTRS permission on Commons is the way to go about this because I cannot verify their license otherwise.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 10:45, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
