Non-free image being used in Taher Saifuddin. File has a non-free use rationale for this particular usage, but the image is needed per WP:NFCC#8 because the image itself is not the subject of any sourced commentary within the article and there is another freely licensed image being used in the infobox to show what Saifuddin looked like. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:34, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Each file is a non-free image being used in 1964 Philadelphia Phillies season. Each has a non-free use rationale, but each usage appears to be decorative and does not satisfy WP:NFCC#8 as well as possibly WP:NFCC#4 and WP:NFCC#10a. File:Jim Bunning Perfect Game Final Pitch 1964.jpg is being used in 1964 Philadelphia Phillies season#Jim Bunning's Perfect game, but there is no source provided for the image so it's not clear whether the image satisfies NFCC#4 and NFCC#10a. Moreover, the image itself is not really the subject of any sourced discussion, and omitting it would not be detrimental to the reader's understanding of the fact that Bunning threw a perfect game for the team that season. File:Unused 1964 phillies world series yearbook.jpg and File:Unused 1964 phillies world series tickets.jpg are being used in 1964 Philadelphia Phillies season#The "Phold". There is a brief unsourced mention of a TV Guide World Series preview, but it's not clear if this is what is being pictured in the "unused world series yearbook" image since no source is provide to verify where the image came from and who holds the copyright. No evidence at all at the source website (http://bisligmaps.blogspot.ca/) that this image is released as PD. P 1 9 9 ✉ 17:40, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I strongly believe that the owner (Mr. Joel D. Viduya) released the image as PD, however I also understand that there is no clear evidence that the source website release it as such. - User:Explicit, did you notice that the file was uploaded by User:Darwinius as c:File:BISLIG MAP1.jpg, but with a statement that the OTRS ticket is insufficient? I note that the file has been incorrectly nominated for deletion per WP:F8. F8 can only be used if the image's license [...] status is beyond reasonable doubt, but this is not the case as it currently says that the OTRS permission is insufficient. If it turns out that this is an unfree file, then the file should be deleted per WP:NFCC#1, but I suggest that we leave this request open for a while to see if something happens with the file on Commons. --Stefan2 (talk) 04:16, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  - Stefan2 The information sent to OTRS states that the copyright apparently belongs to Joel D. Viduya (from the blog), which doesn't seem to have a relation with the uploader. I'll now proceed to delete the image in Commons, at least until an authorization from Joel D. Viduya is provided. This file has been rejected as untrustworthy after discussion in Talk:Race and intelligence. After that it has only been in two archives and on a user page. This user page is a copy of the old article. This image and the user page should reflect the conclusion of the discussion held there. The user page has also been nominated for deletion. Do we use screenshots in the infobox to identify a film? If we don't (and in any case), this probably fails WP:NFCC#8 since it probably doesn't really help the reader identify the film.
