There's a slim rationale for using this in Creatures of the Night but it's flimsy to say that non-free media really explain anything critically that text doesn't. Otherwise, it's used decoratively in two articles. —Justin (koavf)TCM 07:24, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File:Zillatron Innerhythmic.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by HexaChord (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

This file fails WP:NFCC#3a because the article (Lord of the Harvest) has another unfree file (File:ZILLATRON LORD OF THE HARVEST.jpg) in the infobox. This file also fails WP:NFCC#8 because the article does not contain any critical commentary which depends on the presence of this image. File:Jodi Arias.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Gourami Watcher (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

Image fails WP:NFCC#8 in the article as it is not necessary to the understanding. The subject is not notable enough to have her own article, and there is nothing in the article that requires the use of a non-free image. Image also fails WP:NFC#UUI #7 & WP:NFCC#2 as the image is from a press agency. TLSuda (talk) 21:23, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Due to the fact that I am rather inexperienced with uploading fair use images, I may not have been able to give a suitable rational for the image. However, I do believe it would be valuable to the article due to the fact that her trial received widespread media attention and many would recognize the case if her image appeared on the article. Thanks. --GouramiWatcher(?) 01:11, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
For Non-free files to be used, they must meet all of the criteria of WP:NFCC. This image fails WP:NFCC#8 because there is no contextual significance of the image, as it is used purely for identification purposes. This image is not required to the understanding of the article about the Murder of Travis Alexander, nor is it required to see a photo of the person who was convicted. As a press agency photo it fails WP:NFCC#2. Also, as she is still alive, and is likely to appear in court again soon for her sentencing, a free photo could be made, therefore also causing the image to be replaceable and failing WP:NFCC#1.
