I don't think that the chess piece passes WP:NFCC#8. Everything apart from the chess piece fails WP:NFCC#1. There is no evidence that this is a "proposed building or architectural work" as claimed in the licence. In fact, it looks like a completed building. This is not the logo of the Matanzas Football Club but simply the coat of arms of Cuba (see here) in a scaled-down and ruined version. In the history it results uploaded by a bot but in this section I read a history with the original upload by Calapez in 2006 (it is wroten Source: Downloaded from [www.topgol.com.br]). I suppose the possibility that this original source (topgol.com.br), listing also football clubs without a logo available, simply substitute them with the national coat of arms of the place in which the fc is based. And Matanzas is a Cuban city. Wrong logo and wrong info. Dэя-Бøяg 22:19, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Just a note to avoid confusion: On this website is reported the same logo for FC Matanzas. Lookin' at the other Cuban FC logos, it clearly appears that Matanzas is the only one without it's own symbol, but with a logo on loan from the national CoA. I suppose that the original misunderstanding/error (at topogol.com.br) has been perpetrated in various sites and here too. For that reason I've also removed the logo from FC Matanzas article.
