On Commons there is Commons:File:Emil Pollert.jpg and per Commons:COM:FOP#Czech Republic there is freedom of panorama in the Czech Republic. So I think this photo is replacable. MGA73 (talk) 09:16, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The image you are advocating for to replace the current one is not an actual photograph of Pollert but a picture of a statue of Pollert. The current validly used fair use photograph is superior to the one you are suggesting we replace it with. Please do not delete it. On a side note, MGA73 you placed a comment on my user page and not my talk page. In the future please do not leave messages for me on my user page but on my talk page. I used script to inform you and it added it to your userpage because the redirect on User talk:Singingdaisies points to your user page. I suggest you change the redirect.

Non-free photograph showing a random scene in the context of civil unrest in 2001 (refugees being catered for by police). Fails NFCC#8, just like other photographs previously uploaded by same editor. These events can easily be covered in words alone and are not in need of visual illustration. Invalid pseudo-FUR (seriously, where are people still getting that nonsensical "shows the subject of this article and how the event depicted was very historically significant to the general public" from? Any image using that idiotic boilerplate FUR ought to be speedied on sight.)

Note: this is a whole group of similar items, see the following nominations below. All of them clearly fail WP:NFC#UUI, and together they also fail NFCC#3 (over-use), as they are all being used in the same article. Fut.Perf. ☼ 13:21, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The photograph is very important for the article, as it illustrates that the Macedonian police was giving humanitarian assistance to the Albanian refugees. We don't use non-free images for "demonstrating" facts. We use text and reliable sources for that purpose. This image is an advertisement for a life insurance company. The article is about one of the people whose signature appears in the advertisement, but for a mostly unrelated reason.
