- Orphaned, Low Quality, no foreseeable use. -FASTILY (TALK) 02:15, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Its a very poor quality photo. The chart is not very clear either and the image is orphaned. --Artene50 (talk) 10:14, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- This was previously nominated here with the rationale "Unnecessary non-free magazine cover. The magazine issue is not mentioned outside the image's caption, and the cover image is not necessary for understanding the (trivial, tangential) information passed in the caption" by user:Damiens.rf and deleted as a result of that discussion. This deletion was challenged at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2010 February 17#Melody maker-cover-april-8th-1995.jpg which resulted in a consensus that arguments raised by user:Hiding late in the FFD were not adequately considered and that the file should be restored and relisted for further discussion.
This is a procedural nomination, I am neutral. Thryduulf (talk) 12:01, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete, the fact that someone appeared on the cover of something can be explained by text and don't need a non-free image to be understood. --Sherool (talk) 13:55, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. per above. Currently orphaned, and appears to fail WP:NFCC#8. -FASTILY (TALK) 22:57, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep, it shouldn't be an orphan, and it doesn't fail #8, since it demonstrates the nature of the MM coverage which garnered press outrage. It adds to the context, it is in fact a very important contextual marker. Hiding T 22:51, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete, no fair use of cover magazine when the image is intended to show a person(s) whose photo(s) is in the cover (WP:NFC#UUI).--IsaacMorrison (talk) 11:20, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Screenshot from a film used in an infobox. Per Wikipedia:Mosfilm#Infobox, an infobox in a film article should contain a film's poster or a DVD/VHS cover or, in the absence of both, a screeshot of the film's title card; this image fits none of those descriptions. Per WP:FILMNFI, any other types of film screenshots are to be used only for critical commentary which this image does not provide and is, therefore, not appropriate per WP:NFCC. - File:Blue Zone - On Fire single cover.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs) – uploaded by Necessary Evil (notify | contribs | uploads).
- The single cover is used in the band's article without critical commentary against "solely to illustrate the audio recording in question" from the licensing agreement, against Wikipedia:Non-free content and against "The image is used for identification in the context of critical commentary of the work for which it serves as cover art." from the fair use rationale. Aspects (talk) 23:27, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- We had this discussion before. Blue Zone has been disbanded and there are no images on Commons. According to WP:NFC#UUI: "However, for some retired or disbanded groups, or retired individuals whose notability rests in large part on their earlier visual appearance, a new picture may not serve the same purpose as an image taken during their career, in which case the use would be acceptable.". --Regards, Necessary Evil (talk) 01:24, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- This is the first time this image has been discussed and you seem to be missing the more relevant part of Non-free content, WP:NFCI: "Cover art from various items, for identification only in the context of critical commentary of that item (not for identification without critical commentary)." This image is not a promotional image of the act, it is a single cover. Aspects (talk) 05:46, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- The album cover is used in the band's infobox without critical commentary against "solely to illustrate the audio recording in question" from the licensing agreement, against Wikipedia:Non-free content and according to the fair use agreement is being used "To illustrate the significance of the band and helps to lead to a better understanding of its intent and purpose." and is not being used to illustrate the album itself.
