trakesht (talk · contribs · count) Hi I am Rakesh- though I had an account for more than 2 years, I have become active only in the recent 6 months, as my edits go in frequency, every now and then I come across people who disagree with my view- thought I would request a review before I become more active in various projects-thanks in advance! trakesht (talk) 12:58, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

all right- just peeked in and found out that I am last in the line! :) trakesht (talk) 12:49, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews Hello, at first glance it looks like you are a very productive editor. You have started numerous articles, have a good user page, had one of your articles on 'Did you know', you usually explain your edits in the user summary (not 100% of the time though), you converse with other editors on their and your talk page all of which are some of the things that make for fantastic Wikipedians.

You often mention policy or guidelines in your edit summary, you might want to include the link also in the summary (i.e. instead of writing "removed original research" write "removed original research", this will hopefully lead to someone else (the editor who put in the original research perhaps) click on the link and learn more about the policy.

On User talk:Sshoaibfarooq2 you informed a newbie of a WP:CSD you placed. Considering that it was such an inexperienced editor (who you had welcomed only an hour earlier), it may have been more productive to send a more personal note explaining why it was being speedied along with an offer of help rather than using the templated message. There are other examples similar to this that could be seen as bitey.

I like that on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/InEfficient market hypothesis you were not afraid to change your mind.

Overall, you show that you are trying to maintain the quality of Wikipedia. You may want to do some work on WP:AfD or some similar areas. Keep up the good work! J04n(talk page) 01:59, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
mostly India related articles, adding references, removing POV etc..the articles that I have started and have contributed significantly is given in my userpage
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
The only thing that comes to my mind is disagreeing on someone with the notablity of an incident about continent airways, I dealt it with what i believe is normal policy after i discovered this conflict of opinion- ie discussing in the talk pages
