Reviews

  • You've been here for a while now White Cat and have done some great contributions to the encyclopedia. However, over the past few months there have been times that you have acted disruptively. When you changed username, you insisted on changing the links from your old signature to your new one, instead of using a redirect, it wasted time, wasted the servers and everyone but yourself found it pointless. Then, here we are again, something doesn't go your way and you create a poll on whether or not you should leave, then cause a stir when someone deletes it. The community has tried to tell you on numerous occations that you have caused disruption, yet you continue despite the concern. This whole editor review is because you're in a sulk and want a bit sucking up to make you feel better. Advice? If someone tells you that your being disruptive or asks you to stop, they're probably right and you should take their advice. Ryan Postlethwaite 12:52, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    I do not suckle. -- Cat chi? 13:25, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
That comment smacks of sulking and proves what I've been trying to say. Ryan Postlethwaite 13:35, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Like I said on the title statement. People complain no matter what I do or say. -- Cat chi? 13:40, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
People disagree with you a lot, yes. The problem is that you don't differentiate between people disagreeing with your ideas and people complaining about you. So whenever consensus comes out strongly against some idea of yours, you think that everyone is complaining about you as an editor. And sulking with veiled complaints that everyone is against you makes people complain about your actions in truth. -Amarkov moo! 21:03, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Show me one other user who received a fraction of the harassment and more importantly who received a fraction of the community apathy I received. Just think of the case of signatures. Such fixes are done every day! Not only do people NOT complain about them they do NOT ever revert them. But when I dare modify my own signatures... People even revert me within my own userspace. And this is just one example. It is not surprising that people do not give my ideas even 4 hours of existence actually. People just cant seem to give me the courtesy they'd give to a notorious vandal. My problem is not people disagreeing with me. It is how they disagree... The speed they disagree... There are people out there who would go out of their way simply to disagree with me. At least one such user was blocked indefinitely. The number of people defending such a person was rather outrageous. -- Cat chi? 15:33, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I am particularly pleased with my featured list List of Oh My Goddess episodes which is undergoing mass merge/deletion which is causing me a significant amount of additional stress. -- Cat chi? 12:42, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
There have been plenty of other users who had caused me stress. Some have even dedicated their contribution to that end. In the future I am unsure on how to deal with such users as ignoring them does not work. -- Cat chi? 12:42, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
