WWEFan225 (talk · contribs · count) I may not have been here too long, or have too many edits, but I think that what I have is a starting brick for what Wikipedia can and will be. WWEFan225 (talk) 19:49, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
I would have to say my current work on Sheamus will be a primary contribution that I can be proud of, as it will show that I can be a good editor to Wikipedia.
  2. Have you been in any disputes over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

First of all congratulations! You have made a good start, and have not had any big problems (e.g copyright violations, speedy deletions of articles or blocks). Well done on joining a WikiProject, this is a good thing to do so you can collaborate and help others out — and you all have similar interests. Your article work looks good, and while you haven't made any big contributions, it is still good. In fact, you remined me of a WikiGnome a little bit.Another good thing is your use of edit summaries, 94% overall. Keep it up. My only point for improvement would be to remain civil and assume good faith. For example, in this conversation, Nici made a valid point, and said it in a polite and helpful way. Your response seemed a little abrupt and defensive, in this case the editor wasn't 'having a go' at you, and was only trying to help. Other than that, keep up the good work :)Acather96 (talk) 10:51, 23 July 2010 (UTC)*[reply]

  • Since Acather wanted a review for his review, good job for this review. The only thing I would add is that 98-99% edit summary usage is preferred. 94% is very good for a new user, but as you continue to grow more experienced on wikipedia, 98-99 will be the norm. There is also a preference under editing that says "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" that will remind you if the summary is blank. Welcome and happy editing!
