Review by Into The Fray[edit]

Hi there, Tiptoety. I saw that you were up for review and since we've crossed paths a couple of times, I thought that I would write up a review. First things first, you're a polite, helpful and congenial user who seems to have a great interest in furthering the project, which I think is great. That is based on my limited interactions with you. I know from this [1] and this [2] that you have a strong interest in adminship. I combed through some of your recent mainspace edits which seem pretty vandal focused (rock on!) and came across this: [3], which doesn't appear to have been vandalism, though doubtless there might be some out there who would likely dispute the edits. Regardless, looking through a dozen or so others, they appear really solid. I think that this looks pretty darn good. I do worry about some of your AfD nominations, such as Les Munro and this one as well [4]. Twinkle's a wonderful tool, but I sometimes think it makes the AfD nomination of articles too easy. You know my thoughts on Les Munro from the nom and your talk page and I note that the second one was nominated one minute after its creation. That's a hair trigger ya got on AfD! Your trigger finger seems to have rubbed a couple experienced users the wrong way too, though I know at least one of them treated you with what I think was unfair harshness. Better, maybe to 'watch' the deletions and revisions (s'what I learned t'do) and come back later, or in the case of AfD's to 'prod' it and come back later. You have a tremendous amount of AIV reports which is great and I went through maybe a dozen of them and I think I found only one that did not result in block, which is fabulous in my mind. All in all, I think you make a fabulous contribution and I hope that you continue with it. Into The Fray T/C 00:28, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Review by Thisisnotapipe[edit]

This isn't a proper review, more of a brief comment, as I just ran across some of your edits by accident. On the whole, they seem very strong, but I would suggest slightly more attention to detail when checking exactly which edit was vandalism, as I noticed a few occasions where you appeared to warn a different editor than the one who did the vandalism. thank you for the comment, i am aware that this happened but it was due to the fact that WP:VP had very bad bug which was warning the wrong users, i appreciate the review! Tiptoety 04:34, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I am pleased with the this article which i created myself. I am also please with all the anti-vandal work and CSD tagging i have participated in. I enjoy helping other users and am currently coaching a user using the adoption program.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Yes, there have been conflicts, but only from vandals who are un-happy that their vandalism had been reverted and they had been warned or blocked, i try and be civil and polite with vandals and/or any other user who dissagrees with me, that is the only way to get things done around wikipedia, i will continue to deal with it the same way in the future
