Sorry it's taken 2-1/2 months for someone to get around to giving you a review!

One thing that I notice when looking at your contributions is that you don't very often leave edit summaries - almost everyone I saw was automatically put on by Twinkle or Huggle. It is helpful to leave a comment in the edit summary explaining what you have done. There is an option in my preferences that will remind you if you don't fill in the summary.

Your comments on talk pages tends to be adding/editing WikiProject banners - which is very helpful! Well done.

Your attitude towards other editors appear to be friendly - although most of them are Twinkle/Huggle warnings - there are relatively few comments to other editors, so I can't really comment much on that.

Over 70% of your edits are either to articles or their talk pages - a good figure - although about 20% of your edits are using tools like Huggle and Twinkle. My advice would be to keep up the excellent work on India-related articles - the edits you make there seem to be valuable.

Incidently, I wasn't aware of Cameltrader's Advisor tool - thanks!

I ought to have replied here long before Steve did, but was unable to for various reasons. Anyhow, here goes:

This might be of some use...

• As Steve has pointed out, many of your non-automated mainspace edits lack edit summaries, which is why they have a tendency of being reverted, especially when the matter in question is contentious. Try and leave a brief summary describing the nature of the edit as well as the reason for it (especially if you are removing content or reverting).
• As you pointed out in your response to one of the questions below, conflicts over editing have been a matter of concern. While cooling down off-wiki is definitely a good idea, you must look at resolving these conflicts on-wiki as well. While it can be very annoying to have to deal with persistent vandals and people who think they know everything about a particular topic, these general guidelines might be of help. Also, SCREAMING LIKE THIS serves no purpose and can in fact be counterproductive.
• Also, your contributions to article talk pages are low (8%). If you are mainspace editing, it helps to be a part of discussions. Remember, working together is the key to achieving better results. Also try and be a part of policy discussions (on WP:INB etc.) since these form some of our most powerful tools against vandalism and non-consensus edits.
• Try and get a hang of tools before using them on a large scale (I am not sure of there is a sandbox for tools, but I presume there must be some way pf testing them). Some of your automated edits made in good faith have occasionally ended up creating a mess.
• I cannot but emphasise the importance of consensus and good faith while editing and resolving disputes. It always pays to stay cool, since that will work in your favour if and when you take up the matter at an administrative level (on WP:AN etc.).
• Finally, you're doing a great job with most of your edits, especially as an anti-vandalism crusader. Keep up the good work, and if you can focus a bit more on improving your technique of dealing with fellow editors (IPs included), you'll become a real asset to the project.

Questions

1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?

   Mostly my edits are either on articles relating to India, or I just go around cleaning up articles using Cameltrader's advisor tool. I am particularily pleased about having got Transport in India to GA level.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

   Yes I have. Sometimes, editing does stress me out, at such times, I take a break, try and study, or watch TV.
