Roastytoast (talk · contribs) I've been here for a while and would like to know how I'm doing. I mainly do WikiGnome stuff and make userboxes. Review Away!ROASTYTOAST 21:41, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, from the looks of things i would say you are quite interactive with a healthy number of talk and user talk edits. Most people will agree that there have not been enough Wikipedia edits so these should increase. Templating looks okay for now but continue here. There is a nice spread of edits across the months. 2000 edits is quite high but you are not yet ready for RfA. I would also focus less on userpage edits. One final thing is that your edit summary usage should continue to increase for both major and minor edits, which has only been showing more recently.

One thing that concerns me is looking through your talk pages, you seem to have an overreaction to vandalism and placing warnings whereas some people are just making mistakes by accident. Therfore, think first and review before launching. Hope this helps. Simply south 12:17, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate the editor's dedication to vandal fighting a lot. It's an ongoing problem, and we all benefit from having our work protected from strange and malicious people. However, I would make a plea for a little more caution in reverting, on the basis of the following experience. I've been working recently on an important physics result, the equipartition theorem, in hopes of bringing it to FAC. I added a new section to explain an idea more fully, and then deleted the three-sentence blurb I had written earlier to describe it, as I noted in my edit summary. Immediately after, the editor reverted my last 30 edits and then left me a newbie warning message on my Talk page, asking me to leave an edit summary and explaining to me about the Welcome Page and Sandboxes. OK, I am a clueless Chloe and learn slowly, but I do have roughly 10,000 edits and four FA's to my credit. None of this bothered me; it was funny and easily fixed, but I would gently suggest that the editor exercise a little more care in such cases. Otherwise, keep up the good work! :) Willow 12:03, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
Recently I started the WikiProject Arena Football League and we now have 10 members.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
No, not really. Besides for vandals attacking me, which didn't really phase me. But, I would take to discussing the matter.
