Randomtime[edit]

Randomtime (talk · contribs) I just wanted to know how I am doing, I'm mainly on anti-vandal/spam patrol of Special:Newpages and RC. Reverting, submitting speedy deletion/AFD (mostly using Twinkle). I just wanted to know if i'm doing ok, and if there's anything I can improve on. RT | Talk 21:54, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ok, here we go. First off, you're a brilliant speedy-deleter. I saw very few pages that you nominated for deletion which did not fulfill the criteria. Second, you obviously are very dedicated to the cause of fighting vandalism, which is great because the wiki can always use more vandal patrollers. However, I also saw very few edits that were not vandalism-reverting related, or CSD noms. While you have done a few mainspace edits, the majority of your just under 2000 edits were anti-vandalism. That's very good, since that's more than 1300 malicious/un-useful edits removed of, but it would probably benefit you to expand into other categories as well, such as WP:Backlogs, and general article enhancement. Good luck with everything, MixSup? 22:44, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
Not realy, I've been mostly reverting spam, and there's nothing special in that.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Only with spammers, and inadvertent speedy deletion templates. Tried to stay cool, and will do in the future.
  3. Do you think you will ever explore other parts of Wikipedia?
As in writing articles? I'm not much of a writer, and prefer to spent my time in WP:AFC, WP:AFD and WP:AIV, as well as RC and Special:Newpages
