Phoenix2[edit]

Phoenix2 (talk · contribs) I'd like to be reviewed because I had an obviously premature RFA go miserably here. I'd like some direction and feedback as to where I'm going with this project. -- Phoenix2 17:14, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews

  • First off, it is great to see you are welcoming new members to Wikipedia - it always wonderful to extend a welcoming mat to people who are not always familiar with the inner workings of Wikipedia. Secondly, I am not a big edit count sort of person, but it is excellent to see you are leaving succinct, yet informative edit summaries. To be more involved with the administrator program, if that is where you wish to head, I would suggest more "wiki-gnoming" - or branching out into areas that are not exactly your focus. Checking for vandalism in recent changes, scouring new articles for speedy deletes, or, tagging new articles with the proper tags to get the ball rolling for the development. I think every editor has one article they considers their pet, and it is good to see you have guarded over yours without much debate. In fact, I see very few debates on your talk page (not to say that debates are bad!), but it says you are non-combative with other editors when it comes to editing Wikipedia. --Ozgod 00:46, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for the kind words, and I will certainly take them to heart. -- Phoenix2 (talk, review) 05:32, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm not an admin and I didnt see your edits, but a third of your edits (34%) have been only on this month of May. You should give it more time. The best way to be an admin is to already show interest in doing tasks which admins do, which I dont know - wikifying stuff and cleaning up, etc. Just pretend you're already an admin and help out everywhere, not only in a certain area and do this for a good while. Maybe if you can keep this up for a longer time, the RfA will succeed. But boy being an admin is a tough job which takes a lot of time. So basically keep doing what you're doing for a long time. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 18:24, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
Lethbridge Collegiate Institute, which I've made quite a number of edits to and hope to continue improving.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
No particularly, though my recent RFA did cause a certain amount of undue stress.
