Ozgod[edit]

Ozgod (talk · contribs) STATEMENT Ozgod 00:50, 15 February 2007 (UTC) I have been an active member of Wikipedia since last June, relegating myself to only viewing and editing pages of particular interest to myself. I have decided as of late to expand my horizons of knowledge and have found editing wikipedia articles an excellent way to expose myself to information I probably would not have come across normally. Starting myself off fighting vandalism, I have come to start opening myself up to more thorough editing of articles beyond the reverting of vandalism. While I find it important to continue to do so (as I have become avidly addicting to fighting it!) I am becoming engrossed with helping expand "orphaned" articles that have been created for forgotten, or ones that have been filled in and as well forgotten. My real aim here at wikipedia is to educate myself and at the same time create beneficial output for others who come here to learn.[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
My contributions to Judy Garland have particularly been my favorite, and my mini project of creating pages for all of her films, especially her lesser known ones. Second to that are my contributions to going through random articles and cleaning them up in whatever way I can contribute.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Some of edit reversions have caused unexpected backlash - of the numerous times I have done a reverse edit I have on two occassions tagged the wrong user inappropriately for the wrong vandalism, or for not even committing a vandalism at all. I get lost in my many tabbed windows when refreshing the recent articles pages scouring for vandalism.
