LWF[edit]

LWF (talk · contribs) I have been curious for a while now about how people think about me on Wikipedia and where I need to improve. Any advice or comments would be great. LWF 03:40, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I am most pleased with my work in creating and coordinating the WikiProject Firearms. I personally think that the firearms area of Wikipedia has improved a fair bit since the project came into being.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
The two most frustrating conflicts/disputes I've ever been involved in were the user:Wiarthurhu which seemed to go on forever with him spouting off personal attacks and weasel words in some articles and violating policies like WP:NPOV. The other would be the dispute with user:SaltyBoatr in the Hunting weapon article. That one was frustrating because it seemed like he didn't think any source that myself or the others came up with was satisfactory. That one ended when I went on vacation, so I didn't end it myself. In the future, I plan on settling disputes in the best way, by using sourced information, and compromising when suitable.
