Gaia Octavia Agrippa (talk · contribs) I have been editing wikipedia since September 2007. I have been considering applying for admin coaching and then applying for adminship. However I would like to get some feedback on my strong/weak points and on things I need to improve or get involved with if I am to be a successful admin candidate. Reviews

  • Hello. Well, before thinking about adminship, consider editing more on Wikipedia because the community looks for users with high edit counts for adminship, around 10,000. For starters, I recommend editing articles more (without scripts) because you will learn and show the community that you know what is expected of an article. I also recommend editing on Wikipedia pages, such as WP:XFD, WP:RFA, or here at WP:ER. I also encourage you to edit areas where you wish that you could apply your administrator tools towards to. I like your attitude on edit wars, its best to discuss it versus reverting and reverting.--Truco 15:39, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
I'm a bit of a wiki-gnome myself, so most of my edits are small, but I do add content to wikipedia occasionally. I spend some of my time reverting vandalism using huggle. However I can't remember any edits that I have been particularly pleased about, because I am mostly pleased with all of my edits.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I can't remember any editing disputes I have been involved in, except reverting vandalism. If I was involved in a full blown edit war I would take it off the article and onto the other editors user page, so that we can resolve it civilly and not like children constantly reverting each other.
