Questions

  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
    My contributions mostly consist of WP:NPP, WP:RCP, reversion of vandalism, and the occasional visit to WP:AFC and WP:CHU to help out with anything I can. To the second part of the question, I would say the short articles I have created regarding my city (Dallas) are my best contributions. I know I don't contribute loads of articles per month, but I enjoy creating articles about little-known stuff that I know pass the criteria for notability.
  2. Have you been in any disputes over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
    Yes; I think every Wikipedian will eventually run into at least one content dispute (after all, behind the screen is a human being; we can disagree with each other at times). I have tried dealing with it myself as far as I can. My most stressful situation would have to be a past sockpuppetry ordeal here; I was asked by a user to give a third-point of view opinion, and it turned into a huge uncivil argument. Because I was rather new, and not too experienced with policy and modus operandi of sockpuppeteeers, I handed it off to the admins/checkusers to deal with. As far as stress, that comes and goes almost once a month from the occasional editor disagreeing with a deletion nomination, but nothing WP:DENY or WP:RBI can't fix.

  • XfD: Not ready, no edits related. This is not a Vandal area but, it is helped in the maintaining of wiki, to remove articles that don't belong because of WP Policy. Quite a few edits here shows your knowlage.
  • RfA: Not ready, no contributions made. This will show that you know how admin works and if you explain why you support or oppose, it might show that you know what standard you should be holding yourself to.
  • AN/ANI/ANU: Not ready, no edits related.
  • Summary
