Ck lostsword (talk · contribs) Here we are again - a second editor review. I now have a far higher number of edits to articles and talk pages, largely due to large-scale vandal fighting. I am becoming gradually more acquainted with Wikipedia policy through an increased (and increasing) involvement with AfD, and am also more familiar with tools such as AWB and VandalProof. I am really enjoying editing, especially with behind-the-scene and administrative tasks such as vandal-fighting and am hoping to become an admin at some point fairly soon. ck lostsword|queta!|Suggestions? 15:13, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews

  • You've done really well. Your vandal-fighting is outstanding, and you've participated in many Wikipedian functions. I would suggest that you start taking a look at WP:RFA to prepare yourself for a future RFA, and also to gain some valuable experience. If you have downtime, you could always come over here to share your experiences as well. As you really like focusing on a single article, you may want to expand your worklist. I suggest a trip to User:SuggestBot if you'd really like to challenge yourself. All in all, keep up the good work, and I'm pretty sure I'll see you again sometime. bibliomaniac15 03:53, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
My main edits recently have been whilst patrolling Recent Changes and New Pages. However, the article that I have been most involved in is Age of Empires III, which, following a peer review , I have taken part in a major overhaul of. The overall goal for this article is Good or Featured, and this is what I am gradually working towards. I have also contributed heavily to Book 3 (Inheritance), mostly reverting speculation and other such edits, which has helped me to become more familiar with policies such as 'Wikipedia is not'
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I have not been in any serious conflicts since my last editor review, so I will include a quote from that here: 'I have very rarely been involved in an actual conflict. However, on my talk page , you can find a comparatively long-running discussion with one User talk:Dougp59, who wanted to add a self-created website link to a high-visibility article (Evolution). By collaborating with another user, we managed to persuade him not to - I hope, reasonably amicably. This event was really useful, as it gave me experience collaborating with other users to improve an article, and to help another user.'
