You're not the first user who's tried a request for adminship and found himself swarmed in a hornet's nest. Don't worry; everyone who opposed you wants you to succeed, but you don't have enough experience for us to trust you with deleting articles and blocking disruptive users. It will be a long time before you are ready for that.

Meanwhile, I have some advice for now:

  • You have made only 30 edits to articles, and not more than 2 edits to any single article. You should try to write articles by adding text or cleaning up bad writing, instead of just reverting vandalism.
  • On that subject, you write on your user page, "FIGHT THOSE VANDALS!!!" I'm a little concerned with the sentiment behind that statement. Vandal fighting is not a game of cops and robbers. The ideal vandal fighter should be annoyed about the vandalism, but feels that he/she is helping the project by correcting it. Of course, it has to be fun, or nobody would do it. When dealing with suspected vandals, you must always remember to assume good faith.
  • I recommend that you move your user boxes from your talk page to your userpage, which is where they belong. Another option is to create a subpage on your userpage for your userboxes. The way to do that is to edit your userpage with the text "[[/My userboxes]], save the edit, click on the red link, and paste your userboxes into the new page.

I wish you good luck. YechielMan 02:16, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
My work fighting vandals is what I am the most pleased with
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
When I was blocked for editing, I was upset because it wasn't my fault, (see my talk page), however I tried to respond civily but strongly, and I was unblocked. I will use this attempt in the future, as it worked that time.

I also wanted to know if I am allowed to remove those warnings of my talk page. Thanks!
