It was merged to List of Resident Evil characters per AFD. However, years later, some disagreed (or a sockpuppet) disagreed. Does the consensus change, even when no substantial improvements were made? --George Ho (talk) 22:45, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Certainly, for a five year old AfD decision, anybody can create a new article there, as long as the new one is substantially improved from the original. That's not that case here; the version of 4 January 2015 appears to be identical to the pre-AfD version of 31 July 2010. I agree that the old AfD was a pseudo deletion. Also agree that it was barely strong enough to not be a soft deletion, although not by much. This does not belong at DRV. If opposed in reverting to a redirect, and if unable to find an admin to impose the old consensus, take it back to AfD. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 07:58, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Endorse the AfD's outcome. There was a rough consensus in the AfD that "this article basically consists of original research and plot summary not supported by independent reliable sources" (from Robofish's comment). I compared the 2015 restoration with the 2010 revision, and no new material or sources were added to address the AfD participants' concerns.
The article has been restored multiple times from 2010–2015 without any of the restorations addressing the AfD participants' concerns. Therefore, I recommend enforcing the AfD outcome by restoring the redirect to List of Resident Evil characters#Umbrella Corporation and full-protecting the redirect. Endorse just in case it wasn't obvious from my non-vote comment, I endorse the AFD as having arrived at the correct result. It also seems logical to protest the redirect as suggested above. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 13:26, 1 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
