The casebook (and all other versions of it) appear to be licensed under CC-BY-SA-NC, which is a creative commons license type that is incompatible with Wikipedia's license. Rephrasing is going to be needed. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 06:32, 19 December 2022 (UTC)

- Franz Kneisel (history · last edit · rewrite) from https://doi.org/10.1093/gmo/9781561592630.article.46768. All but the last six sentences of this article have been copied and pasted verbatim from the corresponding article in Grove Music Online (the source is behind a paywall, but I have access through my local library, and I think it's accessible through the Wikipedia Library as well). The entire Grove article was copied by the editor who originally created the WP article in 2007, so there is no easy way to revert to a clean text. The only parts of the WP article that are not from Grove are the final sentences about Kneisel's students, his wife, his children, and the date of his death.
