- Jinfo.org: List of Jewish American playwrights where source 1 a, b and c point to http://www.jinfo.org/Musicals.html where it says explicitly Copyright © 2003-2011 JINFO.ORG. All rights reserved. Reproduction of any part of this website without the express, prior written permission of JINFO.ORG is prohibited.. The information of jinfo.org seem to have been source for more Jew listings, eg. List of Jewish American_economists, List of Mexican Jews#cite_ref-2, List of Jewish economists#cite ref-jinfo1 8-0, List of Jewish American_economists, List of Ukrainian Jews#cite note-58, Secular Jewish music#cite ref-jinfo 2-0, List of Dutch Jews#cite ref-1 ... ah well it seems to be a popular, but copyrighted, resource. Shouldn't all list entries with only the website as source be removed? See http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ASearch&profile=default&search=jinfo.org&fulltext=Search
I also wonder if the List of Jewish Nobel laureates is not a direct copy from http://www.jinfo.org/Nobels_Physics.html Honorsteem (talk) 18:28, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
- No copyright concern. Material PD or appropriately licensed for use. In short the answer is no, there's no concern here. Facts and ideas are not copyrightable (see Copyright law of the United States#Idea/expression dichotomy and User:Moonriddengirl/Copyright in lists for more on this), although the way they're expressed often is. In this instant these lists bear very little resemblance to the source - there's different information in the list, different people included, we have our own criteria for inclusion for those lists that are subjective etc so there's no concern there either. --Dpmuk (talk) 19:53, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

- No vio found, claim cannot be validated. Tag removed from article. natural evolution of the text. One single edit from August 2006 could possibly be at issue, but without a source, no conclusions can be drawn. --MLauba (Talk) 09:48, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
