Copyright investigations (manual article tagging)
[edit]
  • Green tickY Verno helpfully points out that the site itself does predate, but no evidence that this page does. The commercial nature of the site and the prior issue of reverse infringement with this content makes it far more likely we had it first. Restoring pending any credible evidence of infringement, but I will not tag this as a backwardscopy, since I can't prove it is. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:40, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
In the referenced URL see section 1.6.5 (Linear Data Set) and its subsection (Data-In-Virtual) for where the article text appears to come from. --TreyGeek (talk) 04:31, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
As I do not speak this language, I've asked an admin who does to look at this one. :) Thanks for your very specific notes! --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:28, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  •  DoneIt is almost verbatim from pages in the IBM redbook [2] and [3]. That sourced text uses IBM specific jargon -- whereas the topic could be written with more generalized "computerese." Unfortunately, this means deleting the page as a copyvio. CactusWriter (talk) 16:38, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
