  • Comment the platform a piece of software runs on certainly seems defining, you wouldn't buy something you could not run. The question is not whether it is defining, but whether it is sufficiently notable to receive a category, or whether categorization is overly fine-grained. If there are no exclusive titles for MozFFOS, or less than 5, then it could ne insufficient to support a category -- 64.229.90.53 (talk) 16:19, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • There are currently no exclusive titles within the category, so a List article would be a better solution to a category at this time. Listify to justify when the software was MozFFOS compatible, what versions were so. -- 64.229.90.53 (talk) 16:22, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: The history of this category is a complete mess. It was originally created in October 2020 is a parent category for Category:Wikipedia articles that use Tanzanian English, which was formerly populated by Template:Tanzanian English. When the underlying template (Template:Tanzanian English) was deleted at TfD per Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2021 March 6#Template:Akrotiri and Dhekelia English, Category:Wikipedia articles that use Tanzanian English was emptied, and then deleted one week later as empty.

This should have been deleted as empty at that time, however it was turned into a dated maintenance category on March 2 (and thus the dated subcategories make it not empty). However, "Use XXX English" categories are only populated by identically named "Use XXX English" templates, and Template:Use Tanzanian English has never existed, so there will never be any pages to populate this category and its existence is accomplishing nothing other than causing monthly category churn (since AnomieBOT creates the current month's dated category and a human deletes the previous month's) * Pppery * it has begun... 15:54, 1 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    I created[1] this category in October 2020 whilst cleaning up Special:WantedCategories: i.e. it was a non-empty category without a category page. My only view on whether this category should exist is that if it is non-empty it should exist, i.e. WP:REDNOT should be applied.
