rename not ideal, and "species" is odd nomenclature and the definition is not followed if we consider various Star Trek humanoids (e.g., Vulcans) that can intermate with humans (producing Spock for example) are, by normal definitions of "species", the same species as humans. comment nomination misses certain facts, such as that various European countries have component parts of themselves (provinces, not colonies) in the Caribbean and are thus a Caribbean country. Hmains (talk) 06:06, 14 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Prefer -- Category:Countries of the Caribbean. The fact that Puerto Rico is a territory and a few other islands remain dependencies of an external state can be covered in a headnote, explaining that it includes such territories.
