Somewhat promotional article, not encyclopedic at all. Lafayette Baguette talk 23:46, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep This appears to have been created as part of a class project. It looks like this is a thing, and it seems definitely not promotion of a brand of chili sauce but rather a style of chili sauce. I couldn't read most of the references, but I think this article needs improving, not deleting. --valereee (talk) 13:16, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I think I've improved it as much as I can; three of the sources are identical articles in different publications, and I don't know enough about reliability of Chinese sources to be able to assess, so I included all three. Hoping someone more familiar with Chinese sources can help decide which to use. --valereee (talk) 00:10, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep thanks to Velereee for improving the article, and I've found definitive Chinese-language sources such as Intangible Cultural Heritages of Hunan Province (Volume 3). Yongfeng Chili Sauce is apparently such an important ingredient of Hunan cuisine (which is known for its spicy food), the province has officially listed it as part of its cultural heritage. Notable beyond doubt. -Zanhe (talk) 08:41, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Zanhe, thanks! I couldn't access (and couldn't read it anyway) so I've added it as a further reading section. valereee (talk) 14:25, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep There are enough sources to satisfy WP:GNG, and as one of China's protected geographical indication product, it should be notable. Hzh (talk) 13:41, 25 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
