A heartwarming story but nonetheless a minor local news event. This man is unlikely ever to be the focus of any non-trivial independent coverage unrelated to the incident, which is indeed the subject of the sole source cited. Guy (Help!) 08:51, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Don't Delect: This article is translated from Chinese Wikipedia and that version was remained after a delection discussion. As a result, most of the source are Chinese. If you want, I'll add them. In additon, I don't think this is just a mirror of a news event because the social reaction and more details are also included. LOL，do you know that many Chinese wiki-articles which had many international versions were deleted by Chinese admins? thanks for your hard job for translating, but not any international media reported this normal heartwarming story, it's too normal for the countries that have true loves. the reason that Chinese media hyped for this normal news is China is a love-lacking country, it has a cold-blooded society with numb people. especially after the Chinese GOV killed a lot of students in 1989/ 6/4, since then, no moral left, no love left。the things like lies，cheat，dirty-money, have become a common value for the Chinese society. this kind of value also can be found in the Chinese Wikipedia, the Chinese wiki is controlled by some ill people, they have done many bad things against the editors who have different opinions, they can find all kind of reasons to block this kind of users. that's very bad, but you must face them, because that is China, they are Chinese! you know? --江祸国 (talk) 10:38, 12 June 2012 (UTC)— 江祸国 (talk • contribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic. Sorry, I can’t agree with you. You said Chinese society is full of cool-blood people and lack of love but in fact, it’s not true. Every country has both negative and positive news. If you just focus on negative news, obviously, you’ll think Chinese society is extremely bad. In addition, it’s wrong to criticize that PRC government lead China to bad direction and make Chinese society worse and worse. PRC government always encourages people to do good things and this event is a good ‘example – Mr. Wu’s family was given lots of money from the government and the province leader also personally go to Wu’s home to visit him family. In society, thousands of citizens voluntarily go to the street and join his funeral. However, you just say “China is lack of love” here and IGNORE all these facts. I tried to give you some links about Chinese people’s reactions online, but you always give some so called “Internet comment” which cannot be checked as a response in the talk page in Chinese Wikipedia. China is now developing quickly and various kinds of problem may appear during this period. However, Chinese people never stop following Great Spirit. However, some people always think China is becoming reprobate and maliciously speculate every event happens in China. In addition, Chinese Wikipedia is not controlled by anyone and number of editors from China Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan with huge different backgrounds are almost 2:3:3. In this situation, no one can control whole Chinese Wikipedia. This article is blocked in Chinese Wiki just because you started an edit warring but NOTHING ABOUT POLITICAL OPINION DIFFERENCE. I am so surprised that you think the manager block this article because you write “reactionary” stuff. This article write about a person who has passed away. As a result, WP:BLP1E is not suitable for this article. In addition, you think this article looks like "a blog, webspace provider, social network, or memorial site". I just write some truth about events about Mr. Wu.   • A page centering the driver himself must not be kept because one minor, but heartwarming case, does not deem a standalone article, though there is sufficient notability for the information to be at least included in a new article with a name such as Wu Bin Incident. Just like there is no "Charles Lindbergh Jr" page, but instead there is a "Lindbergh kidnapping" page. Bonkers The Clown (talk) 06:20, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Repurpose- Per Makecat. The incident is notably covered internationally; such incidents rarely capture the public's attention, but this did. Deservedly received official recognition; a biography may be warranted later if sufficient biographic details emerge to justify splitting it from the event.
