~~Draftify~~ per talkpage in preference to WP:TNT. This looks like another problematic WikiEdu article. In this case, there appear to be two or three possible notable articles in the space, and most likely some useful parts in the current article if Artodd or other interested editors are willing to save the article one way or another. I won't argue for or against because I oversaw the class under my work account, but I wanted to drop a note that I've greatly reduced and re-worked the article. It's no longer an essay and the article now has subject specific sourcing and a bit of a growing history section as well. I wanted to know if this would be enough to save the article. Merge to Women's cinema#Documentaries. The content in both Women and Documentary Film and in Women's cinema, plus maybe Woman's film, needs to be reworked, streamlined, and better organized. Later, the Women's cinema#Documentaries section might grow large enough to be split back off to a separate article, per Wikipedia:Summary style.
The original premise, WP:NOTESSAY, is inapplicable here, by the way. There's nothing about the topic of women + documentary film that necessaries that all the content be original research, and any OR that happens to be present in the article is irrelevant to AfD, per WP:NOTCLEANUP. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 17:32, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Keep: Draftify vote struck, since after ReaderofthePack's edits, it's now keepable as is (though preferably not entirely as is) and it's more than needs to be merged back anywhere. Keep after the edits to the page were made it looks like a reasonable article. It certainly needs expanding but it no longer reads like an essay. However, with some cleanup this could be a good article.QueerFilmNerd^talk 05:15, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
