The result was Keep. Notability established sufficient to pass WP:NSONG; significant independent coverage, and charting on national charts. I would like to remind people that just because a single is released, even from a group as famous as Depeche Mode, does not instantly confer notability. Charting and having multiple independent stories written about it does confer notability. Non-admin closure per WP:NAC #1. --Hammersoft (talk) 20:55, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Though Depeche Mode is a notable band, this article does not have references to support the claim that this song is notable. CatcherStorm talk 17:46, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - I just did some checking and it looks like Billboard (an opinion piece), Spin, The Independent, among other reputable music publications published articles on this song. I think there is enough sources for this article to be kept, with sources added obviously. -- LuK3 (Talk) 19:12, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - This is a Depeche Mode single, the first from its upcoming album. You cannot just delete Wikipedia pages for songs that don't meet your charting expectations. It is a single, it was launched. Thank God the page was already created, this means Wikipedia is alive. Only an old style hard copy dictionary would write about it only two or five years after its release, when a new version of the dictionary would be out there. In fact, I am wondering why is this even proposed for deletion. Let's put it this way: it is deleted because someone without much musical knowledge considers the page must be down. Ok. And that, the page must be re-created just because there should be a page on this Depeche Mode single. Really, on this logic, you can delete pages on Mozart or Beethoven just because there was no internet back then to have a good enough reference. Or just because some symphony is not notable to a certain guy. -- Laurentiu Popa (talk) 18:41, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
