Vivien Keszthelyi (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log · Stats)
(Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL)

This biographical article has been created and edited by the person who it talks about (the banned user User:Vivien Keszthelyi) and members of the team (the user User:Gobinho, who has said that they are the part of the team of Vivien Keszthelyi (see diff [1])), which leads to both of the nearly only editors having a WP:COI. Because of this, the article is written like an advertisment and seems to be biased towards her achievements (phrases like "She adopted a white tiger and a panda at WWF to call attention to the endangered animal species" stick out to me). The article has been like this for over 2 years, with the only contributions by other editors seeming to be the removal of sections or minor changes, but this seems to have stopped this year (and another editor has mentioned that the article should probably be deleted (see edit summary on diff [2]). Also the editor User:Bencemac placed {{Notability}} on the article. I would also agree with them, as I also feel that Vivien Keszthelyi is not notable enough to have their own Wikipedia article (due to WP:GNG).

I feel that because of the lack of improvement in the last 2 years, the article will remain like this for the foreseeable future. Because of that I think that this article should be deleted Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 16:32, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Withdrawn by nominator I did not realise that she had a article about her on the Hungarian Wikipedia. In that case, as there is already a neutral article about her, I would support someone translating the article (and thus withdraw my nomination). information Administrator note As the admin who blocked the Vivien Keszthelyi account I feel it should be made clear here that the block was for possibly impersonating this person. In such cases they need to prove they really are the person they claim to be, which they have not done in the in the 18 months since they were blocked, so claiming outright that this was this person editing their own article is inaccurate and a WP:BLP violation, and would ask the nominator to strike that portion of the nomination. It’s also inaccurate to describe them as a banned user, they were only subject to a username-only soft block which explicitly allows them to just create a new account and return to editing. I have no opinion on the article itself, but I would note that deletion discussions are supposed to be about the article, not who wrote it. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:38, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Keep She is mentioned not only at multiple Hungarian sources, but also at some German and French press. Her Hungarian article is a lot more informative, so I would suggest to improve the article by translation. -- Gprscrippers (talk) 17:53, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
