The result was keep. As a group, for now. Individual films can be renominated.  Sandstein  14:01, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Violent Shit[edit]

Violent Shit (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log · Stats)
(Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
Violent Shit II: Mother Hold My Hand (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
Violent Shit III (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
Nikos the Impaler (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
Karl the Butcher vs. Axe (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)

These all seem to fail WP:NFILM. Horrornews.net and Birth Movies Death do not appear to be WP:RS. Fangoria is reliable, but the source covers only an in-name-only sequel.

The only sources for the second movie also appear to be self published. The third film, along with Nikos the Impaler and Karl the Butcher vs. Axe, have no other sources besides IMDb, and I could find no other sourcing whatsoever for any of them.

Delete all for failing the film notabilities. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 22:54, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Violent Shit: Per Bloody Disgusting, Fangoria, this book, this book, and this book. I don't agree with the bundled nomination. SL93 (talk) 00:54, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Nikos the Impaler: I could only find Horror Talk for significant coverage. SL93 (talk) 01:02, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: HorrorNews.net has been generally seen as a reliable source in the past - they do have editorial oversight and don't review everything that crosses their paths. You can see where they've been used as a RS in academic books like McFarland and UNM Press. Some of their exclusive content (interviews, etc) have gotten reported by other places like Blabbermouth, Winnipeg Free Press, and Chicago Sun-Times. It looks like JoBlo.com also uses them as a source on occasion, per the tags on this article. They may not be as high profile as Rue Morgue, Dead Central, or Bloody Disgusting, but I'd consider them to be reliable. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:16, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Violent Shit per the above sources which establish notability. Consider merging the rest as there are fewer sources for most of the rest and it makes sense to treat the series in a single article (based on short article length and lack of reliable sources). --Colapeninsula (talk) 15:24, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Fangoria is a well established zine. This aint ready for primetime or an Oscar, but for this Genre Fangoria is like the Necronomicon of ketchup-by-the-barrel thrillers.--Pgapunk (talk) 23:00, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete I don't think every professionally-made film is considered notable, and I find it hard to imagine any films less notable than this one. Power~enwiki (talk) 05:56, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • Um, there are five films listed in this AfD and the first one actually has coverage as pointed out in this AfD. SL93 (talk) 06:05, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
      • I didn't notice the additional nominations somehow. I have no interest in figuring out which of five films here are notable; I'd recommend keeping or deleting them all together, but have no informed opinion as to which. Power~enwiki (talk) 19:25, 14 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Violent Shit: Article is notable though poorly written. HorrorNews.net and Fangoria are reliable sources. –Matthew - (talk) 20:55, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
